JOB FAIR. An employment strategy aims to fast-track the meeting of jobseekers and the employers in one venue wherein jobseekers can select vacancies suited for their qualifications and employers could interview and hire on the spot qualified workers.

LOCAL RECRUITMENT ACTIVITY (LRA). An in-house recruitment wherein local employment opportunities are brought closer to jobseekers which minimizes them the costs of transportation to areas where the companies are located.
SPECIAL RECRUITMENT ACTIVITY (SRA). An in-house recruitment wherein overseas employment opportunities are brought closer to jobseekers which minimizes them the costs of transportation to areas where the companies are located.

OFW-OWWA Help Desk Services
OFW-OWWA Help Desk. Gives assistance to OFWs and their family members with regard to:
a) Inquiries on OWWA programs and services;
b) Refer OFWs and their families directly to OWWA for programs and services availment such as:
– Social Benefits
Disability and Dismemberment Benefits
Death Benefits
Burial Benefit
– Scholarship, Training and Incentive Programs
– Workers Welfare Assistance Program
– Repatriation Program
– Reintegration Program
c) Request to assist OFWs who are in distress abroad;
d) Follow-up on previously filled requests for assistance
e) Assists in the OFW’s application for loans, complaints, and inquiries and among others
Provision of Labor Market Information. Posting of available jobs in the market, the existing minimum wage law and others.
